Professional Activities:
Dr. Elliott is a co-founder of the Oklahoma Mesonet, a widely recognized state-wide network of automated weather stations that is a partnership effort of the University of Oklahoma and Oklahoma State University. For 20 years he has served as co-chair of the Mesonet Steering Committee. He also directed applications engineering and technology transfer programs that provided outreach assistance to small rural manufacturers. Dr. Elliott has served as the major advisor for 8 Master's and 11 Ph.D. students. He has taught extensively at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and has served as a peer reviewer for over 20 journals and agencies.
