Professional Activities:
Dr. Song Wei had been working as deputy director of International Development Cooperation Research Institute, deputy director of World Economy Research Institute, executive deputy director of Hongqiao International Economy Forum Research Institute with the Chinese Academy of International Trade and Economic Cooperation. She isa Fulbright Scholar in Columbia University majored in Africa and the development assistance policies. She has published more than 50 articles on journals including World Economics and Politics and over 200 columns on Newspapers including Guangming Daily. She has written 3 academic books such as Cooperation and Win-win: Research on Jointly Building a China-African Community with a Shared Future. She has led two National SocialScience Fund of China project and two provincial-level research projects, and participated in compiling over 30 projects entrusted by the Ministry of Commerce and other government departments. In addition to many articles reprinted by Global Times, China-Africa Cooperation Forum official website, her research have successively won many awards including the third prize of the National Commerce Development Achievement Award (2019), China’s Think Tank Innovative Talents Young Model Award(2018), Excellent Researcher of CAITEC(2015)", National Political Science Postdoctoral Excellent Paper Award(2014) and National Commerce Development Achievement Award(2013).
