On the afternoon of Nov. 5th, the 2011 Yangling International Agri-science Forum was held in the International Cooperation and Exchange Centre, about 6 experts both from home and abroad reported on the forum.

Doc. Yvon Martel from Canadian Agronomy and Agri-food Ministry
reported on the topic of “Strengthening the Management of Agricultural
and Innovative System and Guaranteeing Food Safety”.

Wang Ren, Researcher of the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences
reported on the topic of “ Strengthening Ecological Protection—The Rethinking
on the Developing Strategy for Chinese Agriculture in Arid Areas”. 

Doc. Thomas Lumpkin form the International Corn Improvement Centre
reported on the topic of “Agricultural Development in Arid Areas: the
Practical Research for Mexico and sub-Saharan Africa”.

 
Academician Gai Junyi from Nanjing Agricultural University reported on the topic
of “The Application for the Biotechnology Use in Crop Breeding”.

A&F Prof. Liu Guobin reported on the topic of “Soil and Water
Conservation and Ecological System Restoration in Loess Plateau”.  

Prof. Shu Geng from the U.S. California University reported on the topic of
“The Global Climate Change and Low-carbon Agronomy”.
