　　After a brief overview of Canadian agriculture, Dr. Petitclerc will present information on greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions from agricultural activities and how they contribute to climate change. He will then discuss how precision agriculture (PA) and SMART technologies can play a key role in building resilient & sustainable low carbon agricultural production systems. Finally, he will provide a snapshot of PA and SMART technology work currently being done by scientists of the Science & Technology Branch of Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada.
