2004 to date: Professor & Director (BPS-21) in the National Centre of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, University of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan;   1999-2004: General Manager in Shujabad Agro Oil Industry (Pvt.) Ltd., Karachi, Pakistan; 1996-1999:  Production Manager in SS Oil Mill Vehari, Pakistan; 1993-1997: Ph. D. Research Fellow in National Center of Excellence in Analytical Chemistry, university of Sindh, Jamshoro, Pakistan.

Research Interests:

Analytical Chemistry and Environmental Chemistry; Nanotechnology and Biotechnology; Catalysis and Sensors; Food Chemistry: especially Lipids Chemistry, Fatty acid composition, Antioxidants, Phenolic compounds; Pesticides; Mycotoxins; Oilseeds Processing and Edible Oil Processing.

Professional Activities:

Reviewer of numerous scientific journals and governmental funding agencies;  

Fellow & Member of several societies and technical committees/boards of the universities as well as federal regulatory agencies.
