The Dynamic Evolution and Structural Analysis of the Forestry Industry Based on DSSA Method –a Case of Jiangxi

They were important indicators that the optimization and upgrading level of forestry industrial structure measured the ability of transforming regional forestry resources advantages into economic advantages. This paper researched the share components, structural deviation components and competitiveness deviation components on the three forestry industries by Dynamic Shift - share analysis methods in Jiangxi Province for 12 consecutive years from 2000 to 2011. The analysis results showed that: the output growth rate and industrial structure of the primary industry of Jiangxi forestry were lower than the national average level, but there was a strong regional competitive advantage in the primary industry of Jiangxi forestry. The output growth rate and industrial structure of the second industrial are higher than the national average level. The second industrial had not obvious advantage of the regional competitive. The output growth rate and industrial structure of the tertiary industry are higher than the national average level. The tertiary industry has weak advantage in regional competitive. The indicators of Jiangxi forestry in the first, second and third industry showed a downward trend in addition to the second and third industry structure being better since 2009. Based on the above analysis, this assay proposed that forestry industrial structure would have been optimized and the level of transforming the forest resources advantages into the economic advantages would have been improved.
