This paper describes the development of China's agricultural mechanization level and the gap with developed countries, discusses the necessity and major contents of integration of agricultural machinery with agronomy, analyzes conditions and existed problems in developing integration of agricultural machinery with agronomy, points out key problems needed to solve in this integration, and finally proposes countermeasures and suggestions to accelerate development of agricultural mechanization.
