In order to search for the structurally unique and bioactive compounds, several kinds of traditional Chinese medicines from Qinling montains including Ch’an Su, Rehmannia glutinosa, Pueraria lobata and so on were studied. As the results, more than 100 compounds were separated and identified. Among them, one new bufadienolide derivative 1 was separated from Ch’an Su, two new iridoid glycosides derivatives 2 and 3 were purified from Rehmannia glutinosa, and one new flavone compound 4 and one new isoflavone derivative 5 were identified from the roots of Pueraria lobata. Furthermore, two endophytes of Sinomenium acutum from Taibai Mountains were also studied. Three new eremophilane-type sesquiterpenes 6 - 8, and three new caryophyllene sesquiterpenoids 9 - 11 were separated from endophtic fungi Penicillium sp. and Pestalotiopsis sp., respectively.
