Recursive and Holistic Queries for Databases;
Groups and Group Work Motivation Mechanisms;
Holistic and Reductionism Approaches for Project Planning and Assessment.
Professional Activities：
Editor: an online journal based in China: “ONTOPHILOSOPHY” 2010;
Editorial board member: “Journal of Management & Public Policy” since 2009;
Initiated and created a brand new MSc Programme, MSc International Business Technology Consulting, in association with Capgemini. This is an innovative programme, the first of such kind in the University of Reading, to have an industry collaborator to jointly run and manage an academic programme;
PI for EU funded PASR project Europ-Cop; co-investigator for another PASR project BIO3R with the grant of £130k;
Since 2005, 5 KTP projects with funds over £600k have been obtained.
