Research Interests:
Hydrology and environmental fluid mechanics, including fluid mechanics and entrained material transport in overland flow and in the subsurface, new approaches to flow in porous media: anomalous flow; swelling media, and applications of fractional partial differential equations in environmental modeling; Modeling hydrological and bio-geophysical processes, including integrated analysis of climatic-water-plant-land systems, innovative irrigation, water resources management, soil erosion and sediment transport: at different scales, inland and coastal regions, and water flow and solute movement overland and in the subsurface.
