From 1979 he was a lecturer and professor in the Northwest A & F University.

Research Interests:

His research interests are natural-product pesticides, especially insecticidal sesquiterpenoids.

Professional Activities:

Peer review of numerous scientific journals and governmental funding agencies

He finished 9 projects supported by the National Natural Science Foundation of China and more than 100 papers were published in public. He got the National Science and technology award, second class in 2006 .
