I. NWAFU at Yangling
Northwest A&F University (NWAFU) is located in Yangling, Shaanxi Province, and is a research-oriented state key university under the direct administration of the Chinese Ministry of Education. As the top universities in China, NWAFU is supported by the Central Government under the “Double First Class University Plan” as well as “Project 985” and “Project 211”.
NWAFU has been adhering to the vision of “Serving the nation for its needs, serving the people for their living, persisting science for its truth”, and practicing the motto of “Honesty, Austerity, Courage and Perseverance”.
With about 200,000 people, Yangling has a low cost of living, and is quiet. It is a one-hour drive from Xi’an, capital of Shaanxi. By high-speed train, Yangling is 30 minutes from Xi’an and 6.5 hours from Beijing.
II. Positions and Qualifications
1.Positions are available to teach Academic Writing to Master and PhD students.
2.Positions are available to teach Oral English, Writing, History of Western Civilization, Introduction to English-speaking Countries, IELTS Training, and Business Negotiation to undergraduate students, and Corpus Linguistics to English-major graduate students.
3.Positions are available to teach Oral English, English Writing, as well as other English related courses to students of the transnational education programs.
4.Applicants should be native English speakers with degrees in Literature, Education, or other majors with ESL training.
5.Applicants with teaching experience are preferred.
6.Full-time work.
III. Benefits
1.Salary: 8,000-15,000 Yuan RMB (negotiable according to applicants' qualification, and paid ten months per year)
2.Free accommodation: Fully furnished 3-room (bed room, living room and study) apartment with air conditioner, heating system, washing machine, refrigerator, free Wi-Fi connection, etc.
3.Health insurance.
